About the Event
In September 2026, Derry~Londonderry will welcome athletes, triathlon federations, families, and supporters from across Europe and beyond for a festival of world-class triathlon.
Hosted by North West Triathlon Club, the City of Derry Triathlon race day on September 5 will encompass:
- A Europe Triathlon Cup
- A Europe Triathlon Junior Cup
- City of Derry Triathlon, a Triathlon Ireland National Series Age Group for 2026
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the River Foyle and Ebrington Square, the event combines elite racing, mass participation, and family-friendly festival experiences — all within a compact, spectator-friendly city centre.
